Bafta awards: le nominations
Prosegue, dopo i record di Golden Globe, la marcia trionfale di “La La Land”: tutte le nominations dei Bafta awards
“La La Land” ha sedotto anche i giudici del BAFTA
(il più prestigioso premio cinematografico inglese), e ora la sua corsa verso la notte degli Oscar appare ancora più inarrestabile. 11 nominations per l’omaggio alla hollywood dei “bei tempi” con Ryan Gosling ed Emma Stone, protagonisti assoluti anche alla notte dei Golden Globe di domenica notte.
Per vincere il premio più ambito per il miglior film, l’opera di Damien Chazelle dovrà vedersela con “Arrival“, fanta-new age in prossimo arrivo nelle sale italiane e “I Daniel Blake“, la Palma d’Oro di Ken Loach che forse, in quanto inglese, potrebbe riuscire a garantirsi qualche chance di conquistare l’ambito riconoscimento. Fuori dalla competizione più “calda”, ma quotatissimo, anche il noir di Tom Ford “Nocturnal Animals“, con 9 nominations in tasca.
Dèbacle invece per “Moonlight“, previsto come grande avversario di “La La Land” nella corsa ai Bafta: solo 4 nominations, tante quante la commedia di Stephen Frears “Florence Foster Jenkins“, protagonista agli scorsi Golden Globe per la sua arringa contro Trump.
Appunto, i Golden Globe. Sono molte le sentenze della giuria inglese e americana. In comune la quasi inspiegabile indifferenza verso “Sully“ di Clint Eastwood e “Silence” di Martin Scorsese, ancora una volta snobbati. A sorpresa, ai BAFTA è stato trascurato completamente “Elle” di Paul Verhoeven, uscito con un buon bottino dalla kermesse americana: fa strano vedere Isabelle Huppert non apparire nella categoria delle migliori interpreti femminili di quest’anno: a giocarsi la gloria saranno Meryil Streep, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Amy Adams (per “Arrival“) e Emily Blunt.
